Chinese, 20th century. A large porcelain ceremonial teapot of pear shaped form having teal blue ground with pink, yellow, and purple meandering vines with auspicious symbols and reserved with scholarly figural scenes, with figural dragon spout and handle, and fu dog finial to the domed lid. Underside with apocryphal Qing Dynasty mark. Approximate height 14.5", width spout to handle 13".
