Attributed to Spode (English, founded 1776), early 19th century. Three blue and white transferware pieces in the Blue Willow 2 pattern, including a shaped platter, with two small saucers. Platter enameled "3" to reverse. Approximate height (of platter) 1.625", width 10.125", depth 6.875", diameter (of saucer) 5.25". Provenance: Property from the Private Collection of Mrs. Nancy Rutledge Pogue, Blufton, South Carolina (wife of Mr. William Pogue, who served as an heir to the H. & S. Pogue Company department store chain based in Cincinnati, Ohio).
