Chinese, 20th century. A pair of hand painted porcelain wall plaques, each painted in famille rose enamels depicting three young beauties in traditional dress clustered around tables in a garden setting, the women engaging in leisure activities including reading and gaming, one plaque with a structure at right with open round window revealing a seated girl to interior. Each with four lines of black calligraphic marks and one red seal mark. Approximate overall height 15.25", width 10.5".
