Chinese, 20th century. Ming Dynasty style porcelain bottle vase with figural phoenix neck and head handle to one side, the whole with white ground bearing underglaze blue hand painted phoenix birds amid scrolls, ruyi borders, and leaf tips. Side of handle with underglaze apocryphal mark for the Xuande Period (1426-1435). Approximate height 8.5", width over handle 6.5", diameter of foot 3.875".
