French, 19th century. A French Empire green marble with ormolu mounts and bronze portico clock, having patinated bronze figural finial depicting a stalking lion, the lion mounted to gilt metal plinth, the plinth further mounted to green marble frieze with pierced ormolu appliqué, the frieze issuing four Tuscan order columns, each column with gilt metal capital, base and pedestal, the columns centered by gilt metal clock with white enamel face and black enamel Roman numerals, the clock issuing a drop gilt metal pendulum, with stepped green marble base having pierced ormolu appliqué, the base raised on two square and two round gilt metal feet, apparently unmarked. Overall approximately 22" x 10" x 5".
