French or Italian, early 20th century. A pair of neoclassical style tole lamps, each having a squared, tapering form, polychromed red and painted with gilt swags, flanked to either side with lion and ring handles, to the front with a central pastoral landscape scene, and with musical instruments to the reverse, with a Greek key border, and acanthus leaf tip molding, with four peg feet on a squared and stacked base. Each with a pleated shade. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height 30.75", width 8.5", depth 8.5".
