Style of Josef Hoffman (Austrian, 1870-1956), late 20th century. A pair of Art Deco style ebonized wood high barrel back chairs, each having a demilune form, a vertically and horizontally slatted openwork back, and a solid seat with an interior compartment, with a black seat cushion. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height 46.125", width 36", seat depth 16.25", seat to floor 19".
