Continental, likely Spanish, circa 1970s-80s. A set of 6 carved wood shell motif dining chairs, each polychromed with a distressed whitewashed finish, having an oval, scalloped shell form back, over a round, upholstered seat, with four squared saber legs, two with serpentine armrests over curved arm supports, each with flax upholstery. Approximate height (of armchair) 39", width 22", seat depth 19.5", seat to floor 19.25".
