Matched pair of Louis XVI style giltwood carved bergere settees, each having a rounded continuous crestrail carved with berried laurel leaves and terminating in scrolled armrest and imbricated supports above a conforming double caned back and sides with central bead and reel framed oval panel headed with pierced draping floral swags above the recessed caned seat with guilloche carved border and fluted seat rail raised on turned, tapered and fluted legs. Approximate height 30.25", width 35.75", seat depth 15", seat height 15.75".
