French, 19th century. A Neoclassical style bronze doré mantle clock having urn form finial topped with flambeau or torchère finial and flanked on either side by figural c-scrolled handles in the form of griffins, having glazed and hinged door over etched metal clock face, with Roman numerals on convex white enamel, the clock raised on four pierced, double vase form legs, and issuing a figural pendulum, the pierced gilt metal base centered by splayed acanthine, c-scroll and egg crest, raised on four lion's paw feet, the clock face marked "Richond 17 B a Montmartre", the movement marked "H&F PARIS 681", with key. Overall approximately 16" x 9" x 6.5".
