Davenport (English, 1793-1887), circa 1793-1810. A matched pair of fine porcelain bough pots or jardiniere vases in demilune form with white ground and gilt detailing, the body with three hand painted polychrome floral swags issued from ribbon tied bows. The sides with applied molded gold rings and the top fitted with acrylic flower separators (later). The underside with impressed "Davenport" in lower case letters along with impressed stylized anchor. Approximate height 5.12", width 5.62", depth 3.5". Provenance: From the Private Collection of the Owner of Chelsea House.
