F. Lipscombe & Co. (English, 19th century), late 19th century. A Victorian salt glazed stoneware water filter, buff in color and having a slender, ovoid form, decorated with applied white relief grape vines and the Royal coat of arms with impressed Greek key bordering, with a tapering lid, applied foliated lug handles, and a cast iron spout, on a tapering base. Manufacturer's mark inside applied relief roundel. Approximate height 31.5", diameter 10.625".
