French School, Late 19th century. Art Nouveau period patinated bronze figural vase with four young nude female beauties at bust length at top, each with gilt finish and in varied pose, torso of each transitioning to vein or stem of plant or flower flaring on lobed bottom, surmounting a pointed leaf base incised with "Peyre" for sculptor, possibly Raphael-Charles Peyre, and "90" for 1890 execution date. Overall approximate height 16.5", diameter at top 9.25". Provenance: From the Estate of Channing S. Jun, M.D., Eastman, Georgia.
