C. I. Moinichen (Danish (Copenhagen), active 1893-1937), circa 1914. A modern sterling silver drinks service comprising teapot, coffee pot, open sugar, creamer, and water pitcher, each piece of pear form with band of chased overlapping leaves to base set under band of chased vertical lines to body, the pieces with hinged lids having conforming linear banding radiating outward from turned finial. Each piece with maker's mark, city and date mark for Copenhagen 1914, and assay mark for Christian F. Heise (1904-1932). Water pitcher approximate height 9.125". Total approximate weight 66.8 troy ounces. Provenance: Property from the Estate of Mr. Eskild Bondesen of Copenhagen, Denmark. Note: the "Three Tower" hallmark guarantees a minimum purity of 0.826 silver.
