French, early to mid 19th century. A painted gilt cast iron and wood console table, having a green marble top with squared and chamfered front corners, atop a conforming cast iron apron fitted with a single sliding drawer, molded with a central lion's mask pull flanked on either side by dragons, resting on two incurvate figural front legs, each a gryphon, and terminating in a hoofed foot, with two squared back legs, with a shaped lower shelf impressed with figural scenes of putti riding horses. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height 34.825", width 32.75", depth 13".
