Bas-relief tablet or panel sculpture depicting interwoven planes reminiscent of industrial machinery. Overall approximately 13" x 9" x 3". Note Arnaldo Pomodoro is renowned globally for his unique employment of geometric shapes in articulating profoundly organic concepts (destruction and regeneration). His work is held in the collections of the Vatican Museums (Vatican City), the United Nations (New York, New York) and the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden (Washington D.C.) among others.
