A Regency period blonde tortoiseshell tea caddy, having a domed top inlaid with metal piping and a central square cartouche monogrammed "MLS”, lid opens to reveal two tortoiseshell veneered lids with rounded knob pulls and third un-lidded chamber, with inlaid mother-of-pearl key escutcheon, resting on four bun feet, apparently unmarked. Overall approximately 4.925" x 10.5" x 5".
