A Queen Anne wing chair, standing on carved mahogany cabriole legs terminating in pad feet to the front and squared legs terminating in squared feet to the reverse, upholstered in period needlework in a foliated floral pattern with a central courtly female figure. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height 45.5", width 25.25", seat depth 20", seat to floor 20.5". Provenance: From the Estate of a prominent publisher and philanthropist, Greenwich, CT.
