Continental, late 19th century. A carved and polychromed settee, having an upholstered rectangular back with a carved crest rail accented with stars and foliage, with a large, overstuffed removable seat cushion, with two polychromed arm with rosette handholds, over turned stiles, with a curved seat rail and seven turned legs with bun feet. Upholstered in brown impressed silk. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height 40.25", width 65", seat depth 27", seat to floor 26".
