Milo Baughman (American, 1923-2003) for Thayer Coggin (American, founded 1953), circa 1970s. A custom mid century modern sofa, having a low, rectangular form, with three removable back and seat cushions, with one arm cover, in the original red upholstery. Manufacturer's label underneath cushion. Approximate height 25.5", length 96.5", depth 35.25", seat depth 29.25", seat to floor 15.5". Provenance: According to the consignor, the original owner of the sofa was the East Coast director of Thayer Coggin and Baughman's close friend.
