Clementine Reuben Hunter (American (Louisiana), 1887-1987) , "Still Life of Zinnias", oil and graphite on black paper, signed to lower right "clementine", with artist's symbol to lower left. Folk art (outsider or untrained art) stil life painting depicting zinnias in footed vase. Framed approximately 24.75" x 20.5". Sight approximately 13.5" x 10.125". Note: called by some "The Black Grandma Moses", noted American Folk artist Clementine Reuben painted the daily activities of life on a Louisiana plantation.
