Chinese, Ming Dynasty Wanli Period mark (1573-1619), likely later. A finely painted porcelain box of square form with notched corners, the surface divided into conforming cartouches each bearing a blue five clawed dragon amid flower blossoms on an orange ground, each of the four incurvate box corners striped in lime green. Underside with mark for the Ming Dynasty Wanli Period. Approximate height 3.5", 5.625" square.
