French, mid 19th century. A distressed Louis XV Provincial style carved camelback settee, having scrolled acanthine arms, with a serpentine seat rail with a scalloped skirt decorated with scrolled foliage, on eight acanthine incurvate legs, each terminating in a whorl foot, with a triple X-stretcher. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height 43.2", width 58.75", seat depth 25.625", seat to floor 15.5".
