French, early 19th century. A carved fruitwood Louis XIV style French Provincial console or side table, having a three-planked rectangular top, over a serpentine apron, carved with cross-hatched decoration and edged with acanthine scrolls, fitted with a single drawer with two turned knobs, on four incurvate legs carved with acanthine knees and beaded edges, terminating in hoofed feet. Approximate height 28.425", width 32.8", depth 20.2". Appraisal included.
