Continental, likely Italian, early 20th century. An 800 silver and enamel cigarette case of rectangular form having front panel with finely painted colorful scene depicting winged putti dancing around a trea in a mountain landscape, the remainder of the case wtih chased scrolls and foliate, with gold wash interior. Marked to locking tab "800" and with indistinguishable maker's mark. Approximate height 3.25", width 3.75". Approximate weight 4.4 troy ounces.
