Continental, possibly German, early to mid 19th century. A pair of carved wood winged putti or cherubs, each having a serene expression, soft curls, and a later burnished gilt finish, one seated with crossed legs and the other with outstretched arms, both mounted with a peg to the underside. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height 16.125", width 14.125", depth 9.8".
