Continental, likely French, late 19th/early 20th century. A Louis XV style carved and polychromed wood fire screen, having a foliated leaf and berry frame, with a curved top, the side pilasters accented with faceted cabochons, on fluted pilaster legs resting on scrolled and fluted shoe feet accented with rosettes and acanthus leaves, with a turned, acanthine stretcher, with a needlepoint panel depicting a flowering urn. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height 45", width 27", depth 16.125".
