American, mid 20th century. A Federal style giltwood trumeau mirror, having a overhanging molded breakfront cornice with carved accent balls, supported on either side by foliated supports, with a blank frieze with a central theatre mask above an eglomise panel depicting a central octagonal roundel depicting two classical female figures with putti, within a crosshatched silver background accented with Greek key motifs, above a mirrored panel, flanked on either side by applied pilasters. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height 47.5", width 31", depth 4".
