Continental, mid to late 20th century. A pair of carved giltwood corner console tables, each having a serpentine red marble top with a carved beaded edge, over a conforming, shaped apron, accented with carved molding and centered with a pierced rocaille, flanked on either side by two scrolled, incurvate legs with acanthus leaves to the knees, terminating in cuffed acanthine feet, with a scrolled stretcher mounted to the center with a pierced acanthine rocaille. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height 41.75", width 29", depth 22.
