Group of three early 19th century English blue and white earthenware drainers; one by Minton marked "Opaque China" in the "Chinese Marine" pattern; one by Charles Meigh marked "Royal Persian"; and a unmarked drainer, likely Spode, having chinoiserie decoration with figures in a boat and landscape with pagodas and architecture. Both the Minton and Charles Meigh drainers resting on six button feet. Minton approximate width 13.87", depth 9.75". Charles Meigh drainer also marked with impressed "Improved Stone China" and #18 with approximate width 13.75", depth 9.5". The other drainer marked with "5" in blue underglaze with approximate width 15.75", depth 11.12". Provenance: Property from the Private Collection of Mrs. Nancy Rutledge Pogue, Blufton, South Carolina (wife of Mr. William Pogue, who served as an heir to the H. & S. Pogue Company department store chain based in Cincinnati, Ohio).
