English, 19th century with later conversion. A stained mahogany cellarette or wine cooler on stand of octagonal form having three brass strapwork bands to body and lid with drop ring handles at top of base, the hinged lid opening to reveal a silk lined interior with lift-out tray, the cellarette affixed to conforming stained raised on three tapering straight legs. Underside of body with spicket. Approximate height 25.5", width 18.75", depth 18.5".
