French, 20th century. A French Empire style two-tiered gueridon, with a round green marble top surrounded by a pierced heart-motif gilt bronze lip, supported by three curved-neck swans with upturned wings on a single paw-footed leg, supporting a serpentine satinwood tripartite shelf, and resting on a concave tripartite satinwood base with conforming ormolu mounts, the whole raised on paw feet. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height 31.6", diameter (of top) 21.6".
