A carved and stained oak Jacobean style altar cabinet, having an overhanging top over an inset case, with two carved paneled doors to the front, flanking a central pieces and carved panel, on four squared legs. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height 30", width 48", depth 17.75". Provenance: From the Estate of a prominent publisher and philanthropist, Greenwich, CT.
