G. Astor & Co. (English, 19th century). An Edwardian satinwood and mahogany spinet or piano desk, rectangular in form, the top mounted with two drawers and recessed storage, inset with five small drawers, polychromed with flowers, with a central porcelain plaque reading "G. Astor & Co. No. 79 Cornhill London," with decorative checkered line inlay, on a wider base, with four squared and tapered legs on castor feet. Marked. Approximate height 32.825", width 66.25", depth 25".
