Attributed to Francois Carre (French, early 20th century), circa 1930s. A wrought iron sunburst garden or patio set, comprised of four chairs and a married table, the chairs each having a round, pinwheel seat back, with a pierced center with radiating spokes, over a rounded oval seat with a matching design, on four shaped legs with rounded castor feet, the table with a rounded top and four shaped legs with scrolled feet and a pressed four prong star stretcher. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height (of chair) 34", width 40.5", seat depth 18.5", seat to floor 17", height (of table) 27.5", diameter 42".
