French, mid 19th century. A pair of hand painted rectangular wall or floor canvas panels with subtly arcaded top, each oil painted with a central classical urn filled with verdant floral bouquet set on an acanthine bracket within a tall rectangular cartouche bordered with flowering vines and laurel husks with scrolls at top suspending an ovular medallion bearing rose cluster to lower edge, at bottom with a c-scroll banded cartouche bearing garden still life with sun hat, chicken coop, and flower basket, allover in tones of cream, gold, red, green, and yellow. Each approximate height 64.5" x 21.25". Provenance: Jacqueline Adams Antiques, Atlanta, Georgia, whereby acquired by a Private Collection, Atlanta, Georgia.
