English, early 19th century. An oval George III inlaid satinwood tea caddy, the lid with a marquetry inlaid conch shell against a blue base, within a central roundel, with banded inlaid edges and a diamond key escutcheon. Hinged lid opens to reveal a single compartment, with a mahogany lid centered with a brass pull, and remnants of leaded interior. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height 4.7", width 6.35", depth 3.6".
