Italian School, last half 19th century. "Catholic Mass", oil on porcelain plaque, signed indistinctly at lower right. A figural genre scene painting depicting a Catholic church interior with priests dressed in hooded robes, with rosaries dangling at their waists, with a cartographer seated in the front pew, with his map scrolls unrolled on the floor below him. With inscription to side "Richard". Framed approximately 16" x 21.25". Unframed approximately 11" x 16".
