Continental, mid 20th century. A pair of Rococo Revival style side chairs, each with with a rounded back with a scrolled crest rail accented with carved acanthus foliage, with a scrolled pierced splat back, a caned seat fitted with a red, white, and blue stripes cushion, with a carved shaped skirt, cabriole front legs with cuff feet, and saber rear legs, the whole lacquered red. Approximate height 36.75", width 18", seat depth 15.5", seat to floor 19.5".
