Wurttembergische Metallwarenfabrik (WMF Group (German, founded 1853), circa 1900s. A silver over copper plated figural jewelry box having raised figural designs on the front and back depicting soldiers in battle. The interior of box with original locking mechanism and lined in green velvet with removable compartment over a void interior. Hallmarked to the underside for WMF along with "I/O" indicating normal thickness of silver-plating and "OX" for oxidized. Approximate height 10.12", width 9.5", depth 6".
