English, early to mid 20th century. A Queen Anne style mahogany burl wood fall front secretary in two sections, having a double bonnet top with a molded cornice and two overlapping cabinet doors, each with elaborate marquetry inlaid decorations with central stars and foliated banding, opening to reveal two interior shelves, the lower portion having a fall front decorated with marquetry inlaid stars, opening to reveal six inner drawers, an locking cabinet, and two storage compartments, over two loper supports and four block front long drawers, each with foliated marquetry banding and lighter burl wood insets, with a molded base and six bun feet. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height 90.5", width 41.4", depth 22.
