Regency burled wood tea caddy of sarcophagus form with hinged lid that opens to reveal hinged burled yew wood and marquetry string inlaid lids flanking fitted section for cylindrical container, also with marquetry decoration, gilt metal lion's head mounts with circular drop rings on sides of box, overall supported on four brass ball feet. Unmarked. Overall approximate height 7.9", width 12.8", depth 6.5".
