consisting of an oval carved agate cameo of Ganymede feeding Zeus in the form of an eagle within a scrolling foliate motif setting, the brooch measuring approximately 45. 00 x 30.00 mm. 6.70 dwts. The brooch measures approximately 45.00 x 30.00 mm. The clasp is in working order, the cameo is tight in the mounting, the gold surfaces have superficial scratches that are not easily eye visible. There are a few small dents to the edge of the scrolling foliate surround that are not easily noticeable, the reverse has a small section of the gold lifting that measures approximately 3.00 mm long but is not easily noticeable.
