$600
American, 1900's. Steuben Blue Aurene glass twin light table lamp, converted from vase. Etched signature on the bottom. Height 8". Aurene glass was one of the earliest color effects created by Frederick Carder for Steuben Glass Works. It was first made as an iridescent gold-colored glass, but by 1904 Carder had developed blue Aurene glass. According to Carder, the word Aurene is derived from the chemical symbol for gold and the word sheen.
