A Reach Official American League Baseball (Harridge) signed by participants of the 1932 Honolulu Expedition Game. The ball has been signed by Babe Ruth, Jimmie Foxx, Mickey Cochrane, Taylor Douthit, Augie Galan, Moe Berg, Estel Crabtree, Lefty O'Doul and two others. The baseball is dated "Oct. 11, 1932." The signatures were obtained in person from Ruth and the other players by Clarence Y. Uyechi, who worked as a bellhop at the Royal Hawaiian Hotel at Waikiki Beach in Honolulu, Hawaii. Uyechi also worked as a water boy for visiting Major League Baseball teams and players during exhibition games that were held in Hawaii in the 1930s, including the New York Yankees in particular.
