"The Meeting of Edward V, and His Brother the Duke of York", engraving by Francesco Bartolozzi (Italian, 1727-1815) after the painting by Johann Heinrich Ramberg (German, 1763-1840), published in London in 1789. Engraving depicts an interior setting full of courtly figures of the English regency, centralized by a seated King Edward V embracing his young brother, the Duke of York. Inscribed lower left "H. Ramberg, pinx", lower left "H. Bartolozzi. R.A. Sculp". Framed 22" x 24.25", unframed sight size 13.5" x 16.
