Frank Weston Benson (American, 1862-1951) The Passing Flock , 1927, published edition of 150 (Paff, 277). Signed "FrankW.Benson." in pencil l.l., numbered "279" in pencil in margin l.r. Etching on laid paper with partial "ENGLAND" watermark, plate size 11 3/4 x 13 7/8 in., unmatted, unframed. Condition: Margins 1 1/4 inches or more with deckled edges on two sides, toning, minor soiling to margins, sheet with crease to l.r. corner and minor curling to top edge. Provenance: Descended within the family of the artist.
