Japanese Dai Tokei or Lantern Clock on Wooden Stand, 19th century, surmounted by a straight-sided bell over the single foliot, brass top and bottom plates united by rectangular brass pillars, turned brass pillars at the corners, brass body plates engraved with floral vines, rotating dial with movable hour and half-hour markers, stationary pierced, blued-steel hand, time and strike movement with brass wheel work powered by two brass-cased weights, all on a wooden stand with glazed hood and fabric-backed wood grill sound frets, overall ht. 22 1/2, clock 7 1/2 in.
