French Bronze, Marble, and Ormolu Annular Clock, Probably Paris, c. 1820, a gilt angel playing a lyre, seated on an orb with central porcelain annular roman numeral dial, gilt stars, and a serpent to depict the hours and quarters surmounts the marble and bronze case with flattened engine-turned feet and classical frieze depicting five figures, fine, eight-day time and strike, silk thread pendulum movement with winding and access obtained from lifting the garland on the side, ht. 19 in.
