Quarto single signature pamphlet, reprinted after an essay that first appeared in the Virginia Quarterly Review , title printed in red and black on soft paper covers, signed on the leaf after the title by Bates, with a printed inscription conveying Christmas greetings, 17 pages, stapled and sewn with thread, a bit dusty, 7 1/4 x 5 1/8 in.
